Myrtha technology

The Myrtha Pools system starts with stainless steel. The chromium-rich AISI441 steel alloy offers both the strength and the resistance to chemicals and corrosion required in a swimming pool environment. Additional waterproofing is provided by a hot-rolled PVC laminate, which combined with the wide range of finishes creates a truly unique pool experience.

Stainless steel structure

The Myrtha Pools system starts with AISI441 stainless steel. The chromium-rich alloy offers both the strength and the resistance to chemicals and corrosion required in a swimming pool environment. To ensure a long service life, structural elements such as clamps, guides, panels and channels are securely bolted together – not welded, as welding steel can make the frame susceptible to corrosion.

Myrtha Pools technology also allows the renovation of an existing pool, where the laminated stainless steel Renovaction panels are built into the existing concrete frame, maintaining the dimensions of the pool.

PVC waterproof layer

Offering durability and highly effective waterproofing, Myrtha stainless steel panels are hot rolled with a PVC laminate. All joints in the floor area and gaps between the wall panels are filled to create a tight, watertight tank.

Different overflow solutions are possible, the simpler Classic, with a PVC profile on the edge, or Ceramic, where tiles are used in the overflow channel, which improves the aesthetics around the pool bath and increases the quality of swimming for professionals, obtaining the so-called “fast overflow”.

Finishing options

The many Myrtha pool finishes offer both functional and aesthetic benefits. Thanks to the durable PVC laminate, virtually all tile, glass and stone finishes suitable for the pool environment can be used to customise the pool design. For the wow factor, our acrylic wall panels are similar in appearance to glass, but much more suited to the pool environment.
